About Saffines

Our Story

Nachiket and Amruta always shared a love for nature, good food, and innovation. Living in a bustling city, they often dreamed of bringing something pure and meaningful to people’s lives — something that combined tradition with modern technology. 

 It started with a simple idea over countless cups of Coffee:
“What if we could grow saffron — nature’s most precious spice — right here, responsibly, without harming the environment?” 

 Their curiosity led them deep into research on sustainable agriculture, vertical farming, and aero-phonic technology. With Nachiket’s background in engineering & business, and Amruta’s passion for natural living, and with support from family, they envisioned a future where pure saffron could be grown indoors — free from pesticides, untouched by soil, and nurtured in a controlled environment.


After months of trials, learning, and setting up their first vertical farm, Saffines was born. Saffron is not just a product; it’s a promise — of purity, sustainability, and care for every thread.
